The 11th annual Girls Exploring Tomorrow’s Technology – GETT - is designed to be an interactive and fun event for girls in grades 6 – 12 throughout southeastern PA (Parents and educators are also welcome to attend). There are opportunities to meet many successful women with careers based on science, technology, engineering and math.
Girls, during the event you may have the chance to:
· Climb aboard a helicopter and talk with the pilot
· Learn about satellites and go on a GPS scavenger hunt
· Make your own hand sanitizer
· Learn how to design a web site
· Explore the exploding field of solar energy technology
· And so much more!
And, of course – there will be tons of great prizes to win!
Lunch is also included.

Statistics continue to show there is a need to have more girls enter careers in technology. There exists an increasing demand for skilled professionals in science, technology, engineering and math (STEM). This event will help spotlight the rewarding and fulfilling aspects of STEM careers through hands-on exploration.
